King’s Cross Central Limited Partnership (KCCLP), the owner of the King's Cross estate in London, is deploying Locale’s cutting-edge occupier experience technology at three of its London King’s Cross residential developments in a bid to create seamless resident-facing communication.

Resident communications, amenity bookings and social and community engagement services have now been combined into one simple platform through Locale which is being rolled out to 368 homes across the Cadence, Capella and Gasholders developments, which together span over 400,000 sq ft in total.

The digitisation of resident-facing communication, the ability to book amenities and for residents to communicate between themselves will ensure a connected and vibrant community.

Currently, the Locale Group delivers digital solutions across 80m sq ft of commercial, residential and mixed-use real estate, where residential real estate makes up 35% of its portfolio.

Emily Swainsbury, Head of Residential Asset Management at Argent, the asset and development manager for King’s Cross, said: “We are pleased to have appointed Locale to provide our digital resident communications portal on three residential buildings at King's Cross. Our focus is to provide high quality homes with great facilities and amenities for our residents. Locale is enabling us to enhance the customer experience further through its smart platform and app features. It is already working well in Gasholders and will be ready for residents when they move into the Cadence and Capella buildings in the future.”

Rob Maxwell, Director, Locale, commented: “Having mapped out the vision for success and previous pain points, we worked closely with the team at Argent and FirstPort to rollout the Locale platform across the three developments, ensuring the resident experience at King’s Cross is unrivalled. Once again, our platform is proving its efficacy across prime UK residential real estate.”
