What’s a misconception about your position?
That I focus on cold calling and finding leads. I maintain a close working relationship with clients, collaborate with the Product & Development team to help shape our suite of products, and with the Marketing and Communications team to strengthen the Locale brand.
What's an accomplishment you're really proud of?
Completing my apprenticeship with HSBC. I was very young at the time, so balancing the demands of a full-time job with academic commitments was undoubtedly challenging, but it has provided me with resilience and the skill of multi-tasking under pressure.
How would you spend 30 minutes of free time?
I love reading fiction books! One of my favourite authors is Stephen King.
Are you an early bird or a night owl?
I come alive at the night for sure! I definitely feel more productive as the day goes on. I find my creativity and focus often peaks during hours where people may become stagnant.
What is your motto or personal mantra?
The only person you need to be better than is the one you were yesterday. Comparison is a thief of joy and I believe people (including myself) often compare themselves to their peers and fail to realise that the only person you’re competing with is yourself.
