Purpose: To support and deliver community engagement and marketing activity within the Strategy & Growth team, including the Offers & Promotions service and destination marketing for a cultural site in London.

Parameters:                                              

  • Monday–Thursday, 10:00 – 16:00 (24 hours per week)
  • London-based role, with weekly travel in London and monthly travel to Locale HQ in Oxfordshire (HQ travel reimbursed)
  • Flexibility required for occasional evening or weekend events (TOIL provided)
  • Salary: £20,000–£25,000 (depending on experience)

We are a small team who delivers big, you will work alongside and with the wider Locale team as well as being skilled at self-managing your responsibilities to deliver to the responsibilities of your role.


THE ROLE

Key behaviours

Local Retailer Engagement (Offers & Promotions)

·       Manage and grow an existing database of local retailers

·       Liaise with retailers to introduce the initiative and capture participation

·       Support the delivery of attractive local offers to add value to communities

Marketing & PR (Cultural Site, London)

·       Support and contribute to delivery of proactive PR and marketing activity

·       Promote tenant activities through digital and traditional channels

·       Create and schedule engaging content across social platforms

·       Produce newsletters and update online content

Event Support

·       Assist with delivery of the events programme

·       Support with third-party enquiries (events, filming), including documentation (RAMs, approvals, payments)

·       Liaise with tenants, stakeholders, and managing agents

·       Provide on-site support at events, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety requirements

Stakeholder Engagement

·       Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, supporting their operational and marketing needs

·       Run regular tenant marketing meetings and collaborate on promotional activity

·       Partner with external organisations to deliver joint initiatives

·       Conduct outreach to local businesses and organisations to support marketing and events

Reporting

·       Contribute to preparation of KPI reports, covering:

o   Media coverage, mentions, and impressions

o   Event requests and commercialisation revenue

o   Social media engagement and web traffic

o   Calendar of events activity and benchmarks

 

SYSTEM & BUSINESS PROFICIENCIES
