Junior Product Operations Consultant

Working with a close-knit team of developers and product specialists, you will contribute energy, positivity, and owning a testing and application support function that delivers direction on time and in line with the product roadmap, as well as supporting the operational deliverables of the Product Owner.

THE ROLE

Responsibility

Key behaviours

QA; product testing

·       Conduct Functional Testing: Perform comprehensive functional testing to validate software functionality according to requirements

·       Regression Testing: Execute regression tests to identify and prevent potential regressions in the software

·       Test Documentation: Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports

·       Defect Management: Report defects accurately, track them, and work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution

·       Test Environment Management: Collaborate with the development team to set up and maintain suitable test environments

·       Test Planning: Participate in sprint planning and provide input on testing efforts for each user story

·       Participate in team scrum meetings, engaging proactively to champion QA considerations

Application support management

·       Application Support: Own the application support process, including issue triage, replication, internal/external comms, prioritisation, scheduling, and release management

·       Participate in team scrum meetings, engaging proactively to champion AS considerations

Product operations & team support

·       Assisting with release management, producing documentation and training materials, and running internal release and training sessions

·       Supporting the Product Owner in piloting upcoming releases with external stakeholders

Performance Management

 

 

·       Deliver to assigned targets, KPIs, and OKRs

·       Optimise team velocity through continuous QA

·       Ensure AS volume remains within set threshold

·       Ensure AS SLAs are met

·       Ensure AS average resolution time stays within agreed threshold
