Marketing & Communications Executive

This role is responsible for the development and delivery of a marketing and communications strategy that has clear objectives, is based on stakeholder research and insight, has a credible delivery plan and clear evaluation metrics. With a core focus of the business being to promote its work, services and products, you will take responsibility for promoting the brand whilst protecting the reputation too.

Are you passionate about business? We are looking for a dynamic and ambitious marketing and communications executive. The successful candidate will be integral in the Marketing and Communications Team in its key role of contributing to the marketing strategy by executing integrated marketing and communications campaigns and delivering timely and relevant digital and social media content. The candidate will also be responsible for monitoring social media channels and supporting the marketing and communications manager in researching and developing campaigns, PR and media activities and customer communications.

Skills & Requirements

  • educated to degree level, or 3+ years of direct experience
  • metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity
  • an engaging and outgoing personality
  • a true love for marketing and communication and desire to be part of a fast moving and growing business
  • proactive and collaborative in working style
  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
  • excellent command of English including ability to draft a range of business communications materials
  • basic knowledge of digital marketing and social engagement techniques
  • responsible for drafting insightful content for all Locale brands for digital and social media channels
  • contribute to corporate campaigns and launches with comms, messaging and corresponding campaigns
  • maintain the growing bank of case studies and testimonials and actively build up content for use in marketing campaigns
  • oversee and update the Locale Image Bank & Official Documents
  • organise and update PR press clippings & content
  • create content, maintain, monitor and grow social media channels
  • monitor competitors and create regular reports and analysis, identifying opportunities for future campaigns
  • work with creative agencies and in-house media team to ensure all digital and social media is constantly fresh and attractive
  • contribute to the development of and shape the marketing and communications strategy that has clear objectives, is based on stakeholder research and insight, has a credible operational plan for delivery and clear evaluation metrics
  • monitor and report key performance indicators against strategic and operational objectives to inform decisions and future plans

 

Support for the Director and manager

  • step in for the Director/manager on agreed areas of delegated responsibility
  • support preparing reports for the leadership team and the Board

People Management, Relationships, Collaboration and Team Working

  • offer insight and intelligence the Marketing and Communications Team
  • develop effective relationships across the business, key external stakeholders and partners
  • be a vital member of a collaborative, mutually supportive and high performing team

 

Any Other Duties

  • any other projects or work as reasonably required by the Manager or Director
  • occasional overnight or day visits to meeting venues outside of Oxford and London
  • ensure compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and other statutory or regulatory data requirements
