What’s a misconception about your position?
There’s much more to being a UX designer than some may think. I have to understand people’s different behaviours and attitudes so we can see the bigger picture. With this handy information, we can then make far more informed decisions at Locale.
What's an accomplishment you're really proud of?
I always think of the latest completed project as my best work, however I am proud to have earnt autonomy and trust within the Product & Development team and being in a position to apply UX best practices and continually working towards making our product better.
How would you spend 30 minutes of free time?
I’m always on YouTube either watching design tutorials and videos on philosophy or bodybuilding science - an eclectic mix, I know!
Are you an early bird or a night owl?
Early bird in the summer months and a night owl in the winter months. I just do better during the hours we have daylight.
What is your motto or personal mantra?
Be kind – a reminder to myself that you never know what someone is going through, so I can be empathic always.
