1 Challenge

This huge business park is home to several tech giants, such as Google, Meta, Apple, Microsoft, Intel and many more global multinational companies. Due to its vastness, managing everyday operations can spread the team very thinly, so it was imperative to have a centralised platform that was also quick and easy to use, all while delivering a premium, polished experience.

2 Solution

Locale used a consultative approach to identify the biggest pain points for the Kildare Innovation Park team and also what success would look like, both short-term and long-term. We then built a custom platform that included:

  • Announcements – for traffic management of building work taking place
  • Amenity bookings – to manage the café, fitness suits, workplaces, hot desk options, gym membership and on site parking
  • Secure payments - for hot desk and meeting rooms bookings
  • Forms – for tenants to request booking out the café/function area
  • Document storage – to make key information more readily available and accessible
  • Helpdesk – for accurate reporting and tracking of maintenance tickets
  • VMS – enabling secure tracking of visitor activity while giving them a seamless experience
  • Deliveries – to speed up parcel management with a more reliable audit trail
  • Polls – to gauge a more accurate scoring of customer satisfaction and attitudes

We also integrated with Joan Workplace, the complete platform of workplace solutions, to set up tablets outside meetings rooms which displayed live bookings information to reduce double bookings and avoid accidental use of a booked amenity.

Our platform, combined with Joan Workplace, created a smart building with a modern, digital-first experience for all tenants.
